Feedback (2009) 2:16 minutes, single channel video
I made this video while thinking about the logical limits of self-portraiture. My doubles and myself are hopelessly seperated by binary rhetoric of self/image, they sing to one another across an impossible physical distance. Images have no agency or self awareness. The setting for my communion between the doubles/self is a pool of water, recalling other classic stories of vanity and unfulfilled desire.
